Hi all – a few updates relating the Christmas (Ho Ho freakin Ho) Party

Parking instructions

There is VERY limited (no cost) parking behind the building; there is a (Can Coast Guard)pay parking lot adjacent to MALAHAT; and, there is (free after 1800) street parking on Dallas road (at the end of the block). There will either be someone at the brow to let people in or a phone (with number posted) outside for people to call the mess for entry.

What do I bring?

Food! and some $$ for drinks

About the Food

  • Keep it fork-free, i.e., finger food only.
  • Consider bringing something interestingly vegetarian-friendly. Leave the carrot sticks at home, please.
  • Nothing flammable, or inflamed, or requiring or in any way bearing flames. I missed it last year, but apparently there was an ‘incident’ that is not to be repeated.

More about the food

Look yourself up in the phone book, and check out how your last name is spelled. Based on the first letter of your last name:
  • A-E – please bring something that crunches
  • F-I – please bring something sweet
  • J-P – please bring something savoury
  • Q-Z – please bring something from any category not yet mentioned

About the $$ for Drinks

There will be a wee sample of something to sample, but it won’t last long. Other beers available by bottle/can:
$3.00
Phoenix Lager
Hop Circle IPA
Sea Dog$3.50
Guinness
Stongbow cider

What else will happen that night?

Games by Jaynie S and other fun events! Door prizes, too!

Clearly this is not a night to be missed!
